Description

Some suggestions for improvements:

1. Configurable labels, say message instead of comment etc.. Perhaps do this as an external language file which would then make it multilingual as well as changeable in English.

2. Option to use a different email address. Default to system email but allow the use of say profile_contact_email (i.e. add to users profile another email field). That way users could chose to route comment emails differently to site emails.

3. As a node rather than as a block might be useful but I guess cck can be used to make that change. It's a rather large block so only fits in the footer not the side bar. Hence it might be better as a separate page and use a contact author link.

BTW it seems to me that this module functions as a anonymous contact form (just to trigger keywords for anyone searching for one of those). It also replaces the site wide contact form if you add to a an admin authored page so you don't need the contact module.

Hi malc_b - option 1 and 2 both sound useful, but this is just a note about 3: you can use the (core) personal contact form to allow this kind of contact.

The core contact form (in D6) only allows logged in users to contact other users. There is a big discussion (moan) about that.

Yes, option 1 is very important. Thank you, malc_b.
