As soon as I enable Lightbox 2 I can no longer get TinyMCE to appear on my node edit pages.
I've tried a bunch of different configurations of both Lightbox 2 and TinyMCE / WYSIWYG API.

The only solution is to disable and uninstall Lightbox.

Is this something that is likely to be fixed soon?

I can't reproduce this. I'm also using wysiwyg api module with the tinymce editor installed.

Can you provide details on versions of modules you're using? what browser and platforms it happens on? do any errors appear in Firefox's Error Console (under Tools menu)?
