On the global theme settings i have Display Post information checked for all 4 options :

- Forum Topic
- Page
- Review (custom content type)
- Story

However when i select the Simply Modern Theme configuration settings these options are not presented.

When viewing any of the site content, the post information is not displayed. I have set the site to use User Pictures and this works fine... just no post information....

Am i missing something or is post information not support on this theme ?

We won't add this to the theme. We figure the global settings for this should be good enough. I haven't noticed this on other themes either. I have noticed that theme designers use this same approach.

our test sites and products sites do not have the problem of post information not being displayed. There could be a problem with your install of Drupal, but I don't know.

qt11, Your settings sound correct to me. Are you using the taxonomy module, and do your posts have terms associated with them?

I suspect you are experiencing the same problem described in #448678: how to add the "submitted by" to nodes?

The submission information is only showing for posts which have terms assigned to them.
