I have installed Slideshow, activated the Upload module, and created a node with several attached images. The node displays in the normal way for nodes with attached images: With links to the images listed below the node.
No slideshow is displayed.
I have checked permissions, checked content types (there's nothing to enable). I've tested with Display set to Above, Below and Within, and can't observe any difference in node display. I've tested in my theme and in Garland. I've tested attaching files to a Page node and with the custom content type I hope to use it with. (No difference.)
If I view source, I don't see any broken code.
The Slideshow configuration page shows the slideshow module looking in a subdirectory ("slideshow") for its attached files, which is not where they are. When I set it to look in the directory that they're actually in, though, it makes no difference -- no slideshow, no errors.
I just don't see any way to actually create a slideshow.
What am I missing?

kkaefer commentedDid you enable the slideshow for that content type? On the content type configuration page (admin/content/types), click on 'edit' for that content type and then expand the "Workflow" fieldset. Set "Slideshow" to enabled.
escoles commentedThere's no option to enable slideshows under workflow, for any content type.

kkaefer commentedIf there's no slideshow radio button, the module might not be enabled. Please recheck.

escoles commentedModule is enabled. That's how I was able to adjust "above" and "below."

escoles commentedClosing this. I've deployed a different solution and won't be following up.
