At the moment the embed module has a few embedding methods in it, and a few player modules, and it's looking quite good.

What other players and embedding methods should we look at incorporating here?

No promises as to when they'd come in, but it would be nice to have a development track. And maybe there are other modules that already implement the players that could be used to fast track development in here? We can also take the best bits of all the players!

It would also be nice to see a wider range of modules (beyond audio and swf) to see what else could be done.

1pixelout seems popular for single file plays
flowplayer seems to be gaining marketshare as well

1 Pixel Out and FlowPlayer are both in :-)

1 Pixel Out isn't committed yet as the code isn't quite finished, but it's pretty much there.
