Hi Drupalfans,

I would like to allow a specific role to use the IMCE directory creation tool.
Unfortunately I didn't find any settings or permission-settings.

Any help is appreciated :)

The only way I was able to enable this tool was to go to User Management --> Permissions --> System Module and enable Site Configuration permissions for the role. This isn't a great option because at that point you're giving *a lot* of configuration power to that role, but at least there is a way to do it.

I do hope that IMCE comes up with a better, more granular way to grant this ability in the future.

This would be very useful, though are there any alternatives short of FTP access?
