Hi there,

I've just finished retheming Drupal 4.7b2 for my personal website, alexhansford.com

The website is validates to XHTML1.1 and is WAI WCAG 2.0 compliant (if I can edit the 'read more' links)

My website is a simple blog with a few articles on web development, running and as a resource for people on my foundation degree. I've also added a short url service (using phpFaber TinyLink), although it's mostly for my own use!

I'd appreciate any feedback on the website, and the theming. I've tried to keep it as simple as possible, whilst hopefully being attractive to look at too!

Thanks for your constructive criticism!
Alex

Nice and simple, but straightforward to navigate. Nothing in the header field yet though, had you plans for that?

Thanks Mark!

Well I haven't really got any plans for what to put in the header before I work out where it should go!

I've provisionally put it above the main content, but thought I'd leave it until I had something useful to put there. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers, Alex

Fair play to you Alex for getting a Drupal theme to validate..congratulations.

Do you plan to unleash it as a theme contribution for Drupal.org?

I imagine many designers might find it useful to build their own teams using you theme as a building block that validates.

It's simplicty lends itself to being a clean, generic, blank canvas.

cheers

Thanks Dub!

I hadn't considered it for a theme before, but I may release a version of it once Drupal 4.7 final is released!

I'll have to tidy the CSS up a bit, and make it easier for people to edit colours... so that'll keep me busy in the next few weeks!

Cheers, Alex

this is an old post, but still one that shows a high ranking with Google. Should likely be archived, as the examples are no longer Drupal.

There is a good community to discuss Drupal & Accessibility issues in Drupal Groups.
