There are a bunch of little bugs in the google_appliance.module file.

I've attempted to clean up what I can, and it includes the update from here: http://drupal.org/node/434886

another fixed bug was the duplicate system 'save' buttons, d6 doesn't require that anymore in the form.

and the form_alter function no longer should have 'return $form'

As a new maintainer, my problem is that I don't know what these "bunch of little bugs" are. Given the age of this issue, they may even be fixed by now. Who knows? If not, please open one new issue for each bug, describing it (the bug) in detail and optionally attaching a patch to each. Thank you.
