I installed real name 6.x-1.x-dev from 2009-Apr-06 and it doesn't work with guestbook module, but I also have older version:

which actually works pretty well, can you please fix new version ?

I asked guestbook authors to use theme('username'... , so don't need a fix :)

But it's still not work with guestbook-6.x-1.1 (realname-6.x-1.2)

Yeap, guestbook authors didn't want to change the code and use theme('username'... , so the only solution for me left was to hack the module :/

Sorry about that. You didn't give me much to go on here, since I don't have GB.
Perhaps if they spent some time looking at core issues for D7, they would see that theme_username is THE correct thing to do.
You might have them look at #192056: User's raw login name should not be output directly.
