Please let me know how to add modules in Drupal.
Which folder should i copy the extracted files?

contributed and custom modules go into sites/all/modules
contributed and custom themes go into sites/all/themes

there is a readme.txt file in sites/all

And then make sure you go to /admin/build/modules and put a check mark in the new modules to enable them and click "Save Configuration".

what do I do if after placing the modules and themes in the appropriate dirs, they don't show in /admin/build/modules and /admin/build/themes, so I can't put the check mark... ???

A) make sure you are using the proper version of the modules for your drupal installation
B) check folder level permissions the folders you created in all

can i get the Front page module for Drupal 6.....for download?

i added the extracted files to

C:\Program Files\acquia-drupal\apache\htdocs\acquia-drupal-1.2.5\sites\all\modules

but is not updated in the admiinistrator.

please help me

ensure you downloaded the correct version for your drupal install
