Hi.
I would like to have a preview-button like any other content type does.
the problem is, I have enabled forced preview in admin/content/node-settings
and since it is not possible to to distinguish between node types here
my users have no possibility to save their profile.
(for certain reasons I can not disable the forced preview)
Thanks!

Elijah LynnI just ran into this bug too. If you create a new content type and assign it as a content profile and then add the new content from within the users account the preview button does not show only the save button does so when you make a preview required then it shows nothing because it won't show the preview button even when optionally is checked.. I am using Content Profile 6.x-1.0-beta4.
When you do as dsms does above then the save button does not even show and it is just blank with no way to preview or save.
It works if you create new content "outside" of "my account" but not if you create it within the account. Also my admin role was able to see the preview button for a bit and my "staff" role was not and then after enough refreshes etc admin had it disappear permanently as well.

Elijah LynnAdditionally, I just switched to Garland to see if it was a theme issue and still no preview button.

Elijah LynnReally odd. The preview button just came back for both roles, admin and staff.

Elijah Lynndsms: Do you have any imagefields etc on that content type? It just went away again for me and I do have ImageField_crop enabled and am wondering if it could be conflicting since I am loading 1+ MB images into the form and then cropping them.

fagoHm, I can't think of a general solution that would fix that for any module hiding the submit button. Solutions/patch welcome.
