YUI Menu Does Not Validate As Proper XHTML With "Built From Markup" Enabled

Description
When using the Menu Display Type of Website Top Nav With Submenus Built From Markup, it allows spaces in ID tags in the markup. This does not validate as proper XHTML 1.0 Transitional or Strict according to validator.w3.org.
