Description

Hi there-- So yeah, not seeing the images show up in these places. Went through the correct setup steps, as far as I know:

  • enabled content, flickr and flickr_field
  • configured API key and secret at /admin/settings/flickr, saved
  • added a flickr_field to my story content type
  • created a node and put valid Flickr IDs (eg. 241161845) into its flickr fields

I also created a Flickr block to be sure that the problem didn't have to do with my setup -- that works fine, bringing back images from my desired user. Switched from my own theme to Garland to be sure that the problem isn't theme related -- no joy. Am I missing something?

Howdy,

I am experiencing the same problem. There doesn't seem to be any related data saved in the node either. Not sure what's causing this issue.

I've noticed this also. What seems to fix it for me is visiting admin/content/node-type/<nodetype>/display, changing something, and submitting the page again. Try that and let me know if it works or not.

Visiting admin/content/node-type/MY-NODE-TYPE/display and resaving the config (even if nothing changed) does the trick - i.e. the photo now appears.

Yet:
- if the field is a photo: no problem, photo appears
- if the field is a set: only the first photo in the set appears, and clicking the photo only links to that pic (on flickr/lightbox/etc depending on your config). You have to click the "source: Flickr" link below to reach the album's page on Flickr. Is it the way is it supposed to be? I'd rather expect having all thumbnails shown, as if doing [flickr-photoset:id=72157594262419167,size=m]. Then, we could embed anything via fields that filters do.

Thanks for reporting back! Looks like it's working as designed. I tend to agree that it should work the way you describe, but that's a separate feature request.
