Redirect Issue on all domains except primary domain when trying to view affiliated content

I recently installed domain access and enabled the Domain Content Module along with a few others. Everything works except I get an infinite loop error in a few cases. I have Apache set up with wildcard dns *.mysite.com and all the sites display. All of these sites are subdomains and use the same database. When I create content in the admin of the primary domain and add to a site which is not the primary domain, click Affiliate Content and select the site, drupal redirects to the other domain admin and I get a redirect error. I can login directly to the child domain admin and try but get the same result. I cannot find the solution to this anywhere. I tried modifying the $cookie_domain variable already and dont know what else to do. Any help would be appreciated
