It would be really nice if the default FAQ Categories Block provided a nested list display when someone is using FAQ Categories with subcategories in their taxonomy. Right now subcategories are presented at the same level as base categories in the block. That gets confusing, especially in longer lists.

It doesn't do this as the nesting could be infinite, and could be too wide to fit within the block region. If you really want this feature you might be able to achieve it using the views module. Otherwise, submit a patch and I'll review / test it.
