I am trying to put a banner on my drupal site, but after following all steps described in the INSTALL file when I go to administer -> settings -> banner...I get a blank page....is there anything I'm doing wrong?

I'm gettin the followin error message from drupal

Illegal offset type in /var/www/html/dru/banner_db.php on line 19.

I have only recently ended hours of struggle with the banner.module.

I only had luck with disabling caching: Administer>Settings>Banner>Cache Settings.

Unfortunately, I'm a newbie and have yet to develop the skills to tackle it properly.
