Description
Hi,
The Batch API provides a fantastic alternative to turning off the PHP timeout, and provides a nice status bar.
Implemented in the attached patch.
Cheers,

Fixed an issue, wasn't retaining $title, $caption or $taxonomy values.

Thanks Loads for the patch. Batch API was in the plans-- Just never got around to it.
Gave the patch the once over and the nodes that get imported appear to be identical both before and after I applied the patch- Things look good.
I hoping for another set of eyes before I apply this.
Thanks.
