How do I add Technocrati tags to nodes? (Is there a module?)
On WordPress, there is a fantastic plugin that allows you to enter "[tags]drupal[/tags]" to render Technocrati tags.

You don't need to.
Just enable the 'ping' module, use the built in taxonomies/categories, make sure that you always specify a category when you post, and you're done.
As stated at: http://www.technorati.com/help/tags.html
"If your blog software supports categories and RSS/Atom feeds (like Movable Type, WordPress, TypePad, Blogware, Radio), just use the included category system and make sure you are publishing RSS/Atom feeds and your categories will be read as tags."
Drupal has that covered so you don't need to add in the Technorati tags manually.
(I tested this a few months ago, and it did work for me.)
Yes this does work
I had at one time made a modified version of the interwiki filter which would generate the proper tag. But, really, that's not necessary. Technorati recognizes the category element in the RSS feed.
This does mean your categories must match the technorati category you want the posting to appear under.
