We needed the hide original functionality stated in TODO of the module code. In addition, we were interested in using the selected snapshot for display in teasers. I am not sure if this is how you want to tackle the problem, but here is our temporary solution until ffmpeg_converter has the technology.

I'll take a proper look at this. However, when it comes to displaying snapshots in teasers, did you know that you can simply choose "image" or an Imagecache preset on the Display settings page of your node type?

I tried that and it would display all 3 snapshots. I'll try it against head and resubmit patch as necessary.
