I'm trying to track this down so I'm hoping it's been seen before.

Text doesn't render when the site is called the first time or the cache is cleared.

Browser here is FF 3.1 b3

I've removed all transparent background at they were turning green in Safari 4.

Just to add to that the profile page is the most effected but I've seen this on other pages.

Indeed, opening your website for the first time, it stays just blank for me, while it appears to be loading. On a refresh it's ok.
I have the same issue at http://debijloke.be

In both cases, it seems to be loading the swf file with the embedded font. Your file: http://handfoto.com/sites/default/files/render/traveling%20typewriter.swf

I just started investigating this issue.
