Hi,

I am thinking of putting together a webstore and thought of using Drupal. I already have a drupal site that works brilliantly, but as this new one will be a store, I thought I would ask for advice before jumping in.

I'm wanting a site that will have a range of goods, with prices obviously and cart. I would also like to be able to have it work out banded discounts (so spend x, get a discount, spend y, get b discount) so this feature is a must.

I've had a quick look through the modules and there seems to be a lot for Ubercart. Is this the one I should go for, or have I missed one?

Also, whats the best version of Drupal to use? My current one is 6, but I notice a lot of modules are available for 6 yet. Would it be best to go for 5?

Thanks for your help and guidance in advance.

Cheers
Gavin.

forgot to add that I would need it to Inventory management, and would like Multiple shipping options, Invoicing, Email notifications. I assume they would come with the cart though.

There are two ecommerce modules for drupal. Ubercart is one, http://drupal.org/project/ecommerce is the other.

And definitely go with d6. I would be suspect of any module that doesn't at least have a dev version for d6 yet.
