Have you checked the error log? What does it say?

At what step in the installation process does this happen?

I got this problem because I'd failed to copy the .htaccess file from a previous install. Maybe that's your problem, too?

get the correct .htaccess with your drupal install version, and check to make sure RewriteBase / is pointing at the right folder (may need to uncomment it), and RewriteRule uses are correct.

Replace the .htaccess file with the .htaccess file of a fresh drupal installation.

i am confuse there is many .htaccess file from where .htaccess file i should replace with which file
some .htaccess files are available in my website folder and some .htaccess files are available in wamp folder so give me the page from where and which file of .htaccess i should replace
