Tried using this module a few months back, but backed off for a while to let it evolve a little more.

I need a mapping system which can easily map all over the world instead of only the US. When i tried locating in England, sometimes i would end up in the ocean.

Has anybody else had success getting this module to work well in countries that have regions/provinces/etc., along with the US?

There are a bunch of updates under Component: Data update. Some have new location.xx.inc files.

Search there to see the status. There are a bunch of UK issues pending too.

These days the geocoding support is better.

Also, there are a few countries that have increased support for provinces and post codes.
Countries that have this support can be found in the location module files in the database directory.

These databases have to be installed for the countries you require. You can find instructions for installing these at step 6 under Installation in INSTALL.txt.
