Issue Summary
I think it may be a great feature to be able to set MP settings based on ubercart product classes. Various classes may have different level of commissions etc...
Perhaps even allow for some classes to be MP products while other classes not be MP, just regular ubercart products sold by the site - thus allowing for a mixed environment.

Thanks. It may be because I'm using the just released UC RC1, but except for the default 'product' class, it's not working. I can create a seperate issue for that as to not get it mixed up with a feature request... http://drupal.org/node/440932

Settings are now available on a class by class basis in the dev release. This feature will show up in the next beta release when it comes out. At the moment you can set products to be MP or standard and you can control commission. I will add more settings as time allows (probably starting with your digital products bug: http://drupal.org/node/769556).
Settings are under Store Administration >> Products >> Marketplace Product Tools.
