Any body who have tried it got it working , plz give some assitance. I couldn't get it right. I got page not found error messages.

The short anser is: Yes!
I used to host my site on Windows/IIS and it worked fine except I couldn't use clean URL's because they require .htaccess file which seems to be a UNIX only thing. You need to first make sure PHP is installed and working fine since Drupal is PHP based. You may first want to try to execute a simple PHP script through IIS.
