Currently, whatever vocabularies, all taxonomy terms are shown on a single select list.

I think it is better, when selected filter by terms, a vocabulary select box is shown and then after desire vocabulary selected, all taxonomy terms associated with this vocab is shown.

Great point. The current interface also could become problematic from a performance standpoint on a site with a large number of terms.

Perhaps simpler for both interface and implementation, we could list only terms under the vocabulary chosen as the product catalog.

@echoz That would prevent people from using a separate vocabulary to manage discounts. Some people might want to have a whole "discount type" vocabulary.
