Rank Content according to user's vote

Hello. I have in mind a concept that i'd like to use on my Drupal site.

I would like to be able to create a block which shows the top ten highest voted nodes on my website.

I already use Nodevote which allows me to create a block to show these highest voted nodes but what i'd like is to be able to customize the way they display.

At the moment the full node title appears for each highly voted node, i'd like to be able to shorten the title in the vote block but not actually alter the title on the node page itself.... Is that possible?

Also i'd like to know if there is any possibility of being able to attach a thumbnail to each node which is elligable to voting and show the thumbnail in the highest voted block.....

Thank you!! Any suggestions, pointers and advice will be really appreciated!
Tom

I thought this may be the case. There are no modules which might help?

Well, your requirements are very specific and contributed modules are developed for general use.
You can tweak their behavior though.
