I want to be able to align images left, center, or right individually. Also to be able to manage image size by image cache.

I would say that a more flexible parameter css_classes could be used and would be trivial to implement. (at least in inline_upload 6.x-2.x)

[inline|file=01.jpg|css_classes=floatright]

Then format it with your css.

However, marking as duplicate of #286792: Allow to define ImageCache preset and image position per inline tag.
You can follow up on that issue to track its status instead. If any information from this issue is missing in the other issue, please make sure you provide it over there.
