I just installed this module and it is not showing up when I go to enable it.
Any ideas?

elijah lynnI am a noob. I have no clue how I figured this out but the "stringoverrides.info" file did not have a line.
package = "foo"
I added one that said
package = "String Overrides"
and it is showing up now. I am not sure what package it should be a part of but that is what I called it and it works now. I am guessing that part got left out of the info file?

elijah lynnOk, follow up.
I just had the same issue with the FAQ /Frequently Asked Questions Module from Stella. I again checked the *.info file and added the missing line.
Then it hit me.
It turns out that the "match case" option was selected in Firefox's find bar. I use the find function to find all of the modules because it is far faster and I wasn't typing the right case in for the module.
So, I removed the lines from the 2 *.info files and turned off "match case" and all is well.
