I'm not sure this makes sense. You can give the permission to login to lots of people in which case hiding the block would be a problem.
There are lots of things, like removing permissions to post content/comments for anonymous users or hiding the login block, where they already have admin interfaces and I don't want to duplicate those interfaces.
i want to hide the user login block to anyone who goes to my site, but i want to be able to access it by going to like mysite.com/login or something like that. how do i do this?
The short answer is go to Administer->Site Building->Blocks (admin/build/block in Drupal 6 -- not sure in 7) and remove the User Login block.
However, that's not a Maintenance Helper question and isn't this issue -- please post support questions as new "support request" issues instead of hijacking bug reports with questions. Thanks, and good luck!

gregglesWe should just make it easy to hide the block by providing a link to the blocks admin page.

claar commentedIt seems we either need to provide a whole list of links, or none. Something like:
You may also want to
Do we want something like this on the Maintenance Helper settings page? It sounds more like a help file to me.

Jason10121 commentedOK, I probably should have mentioned that I am in Drupal 7.
I can do that, but if I log out, it's really bad. It takes a while to get back in.
I should say that my dad is the computer administrator and he finds a way to log me back in. Any help?
