Good to see an outline module at last for forums, if the outline could include the containers described in the forum taxonomy, that would be great. The hierarchical nesting of the nodes/comment would then extend to include the hierarchy of the taxonomy also.

Is there anyway of integrating this with views (so as to include the comment/node body as hidden fields), that way a search function could be applied to search across forum topics.

No new development is happening in this module at this time. Closing subject to being re-opened in the future if a new maintainer takes on the project.
