This is probably a d.o issue, but I wanted to make you aware of it.

When I used "drush dl project_issue" it reports a md5 checksum error.

I'm not sure how to fix this. Perhaps delete the release then resubmit it.

cvs -z6 -d:pserver:anonymous:anonymous@cvs.drupal.org:/cvs/drupal-contrib checkout -d project_issue-HEAD contributions/modules/project_issue/

for now.

MAybe on next repeckage it will be ok. They are at 8 hour intevals afaik.

I'll bet $20 this is another symptom of #184418: update(_status) results stale for up to 6 hours
