Limit on Comments??

I don't think there is a limit of how many comments we can add to a node. But suddenly my nodes that have 23 comments stopped taking more!!
I checked permissions, settings, content type settings, etc. searched for similar posts on this forum and couldn't find any reason for this 'phenomenon'.
Simply the Add New Comment option is gone!

what is exact version of drupal in use?
what contrib modules are in use?
Version 6.10 on the node
Version 6.10
on the node there are the following modules:
- Fivestar
- Print
- Text Resize
- ip2cc
Note that only the 1st 3 nodes have this issue all the others are fine. And even those were fine yesterday. Should I send you the actual link?
Cache is not on.
I have disabled/re-enabled the Read/Write option for the comments for the nodes.
