Description

Had a problem getting FB Connect working. Many difficulties in fact. Did read all the README.txt. Did follow the instructions. Could use better documentation of what is supposed to be happening. Settings for callback URLs and stuff like that. Don't understand it. I think my problem may have stemmed from trying to use FBConnect and D4F at the same time. Then removed FB Connect and tried to do it through D4F FB Connect app. But kept getting the circular redirect error, although Drupal seemed to recognize my user in FB Devel block and was able to connect my account to FB account, just not log in or use log in form as a new user. So I decided to start over, and first deleted app from FB then tried to delete app from Drupal. Won't delete. First complained that couldn't find app on FB "invalid API key...invalid secret...etc." So erased API key and secret and app# from Drupal form. Now won't delete, complains API key, secret, etc. required. What a pain.

Otherwise would be happy with the module! :-) Happy that you are making efforts to make it work. Happy you won the Knight award and are getting financing. (Was considering the Chip-in form and then read about that. Cool!)
So keep up the good work. Looking forward to moving ahead with this. Any hints or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

DaFreak

Found I was able to delete from the content listing page. Just not from the node edit form. Changed priority to minor. Uninstalled module, will attempt reinstall and retry FB Connect app.
Will continue testing and experimenting with module.

Makes some sense that drupal's validate hook is not called from the admin pages. Thanks for the report I can fix this.

Also, be sure to enable the fb_devel.module. It will help you catch some errors before they happen.
