Hi,

I uninstalled the Bookmarks module, but each user still has a Bookmarks tab in their account/profile.

Could you please let me know how to correct this?

I am unable to recreate the issue as described. Please ensure that you have disabled both 'Bookmarks' and 'Bookmarks Public Profiles' and have completed the uninstall by visiting admin/build/modules/uninstall.

If you continue to experience this issue after doing the above, please re-open this issue and try to coordinate some troubleshooting via irc.

I am having this same issue. I disabled both Bookmarks and Bookmarks Public Profiles. I then went to the uninstall tab where Bookmarks was listed. I checked it and clicked Uninstall. I then deleted bookmarks from sites/all/modules. After this, I went to My Account where I still see the bookmarks tab. After that, I restarted my server and emptied my cache to no avail.

I figured it out. It seems that the flags module was working in conjunction with this module. Once I uninstalled both modules, I no longer had the extra tab.
