Hi

I found that latest version of captcha (text captcha) has wrong counting of # words in phrase (Number of words in the phrase)
Try a few times this bunch my (localised) words, set e.g. 5 words in phrase and sometimes it shows only 4 words (If you set 6 words phrase, it shows sometimes only 5 words), etc. (sometimes 1 last word is missing, this is very bad if the required word is missing last word)

I think you reported the wrong version (or module):
CAPTCHA 6.x-2.0-beta does not contain a text CAPTCHA (anymore)

are you talking about the text CAPTCHA from CAPTCHA 6.x-1.x or from CAPTCHA pack?

Does you problem also occur with English words?

Closing this thread due to lack of interest of the original poster
and moving it to CAPTCHA pack, because the text CAPTCHA moved from CAPTCHA to CAPTCHA pack in the CAPTCHA 6.x-2.x branch
