After reading your excellend blog post about this new module, I noticed that your initial requirements that resulted in this module were very similar to mine for a recent project. The differences for me however were that it was important the links were inline in the help text (icon not necessary), and that there could be multiple help links per field/field-description. I've attached another screenshot that demonstrates this more clearly than the existing screenshot.

I took from some learning experiences from the UMN Usability Testing and created the Open Form Help Links In New Window Module. While the approach of this module is quite different, it does solve some of the same issues this module intends to solve. In fact I even considered integrating with Advanced Help module myself before creating that module.

I've documented this module and the differences on ofhlinw's project page. You may like to do the same reciprocally.
