I get the following error trying to use the theme devloper:
"Ajax variables file not found. -/[path]/tmp/devel_themer_175955735849f50698c674f"

When I look in the tmp directory I there are plenty of devel_themer_ files, but non with that name. I have tried this several times, new tmp files are created, but the names does not match...

I am amalgamating the files based issues into #647536: Theme developer creates too many files with a change to the method that files are generated and cleaned in mind. Closing this as a duplicate of that.
