Same content type showing images for one taxonomy and hiding for another

I have a content type that has two taxonomy's. One is just a category, which will have image assigned that will be for a view only. The other is for a list of services which will have images also.

I've set this to link alter for that content type. But basically, I'm wanting to have just the links to the category taxonomy and the images for the services. Is that possible with this module? Where do I start?
