The clear-block class is confusing. “clearfix” is how that bit of CSS is known to the rest of the world.

Zen 6.x-2.x should have its own copy of clearfix in its layout css files.

The CSS that was committed does not include the “standard” IE-mac-specific code, since that browser is long dead.
