Add control per content-type

I've not found a way to control display of the add to any button per content type. This would be a very useful feature, as the site I'm using it on has both user facing content types and various administrative content types where it doesn't make any sense to have a share / save button on it. Check boxes like in the theme settings for showing authoring information would be ideal.
