CKK fields disappearing on FeedAPI rss feed refresh

I'm not sure whethere this is a CCK issue or a FeedAPI issue but figured I'd submit the issue to both. I can't seem to solve this problem regardless of how I configure my feed and processors. I have a news feed that that creates a news item node. On the node, I have a CCK field for uploading image (company logo) and some CCK free tagging taxonomy fields. After adding the image and tagging the press release everything is perfect. But when the next con job processes and new items are added it wipes out my images and tags from the previous items. What is left is just the original feed content again. In other words, I lose all of the CCK fields in particualr. Again, I'm not sure if this is a FeedAPI or CCK issue, i thought perhaps somebody may have experienced this here and knows what I should do. I should mention that I am using views to output the rss items. Many thanks. K
