Hi all,
I own these domains, araj.in; arunraj.in; and lampindia.com
all these are pointing to the same hosting. And it just works fine at present.
But I want to change the drupal installation to a multi-site setup. where, araj.in and arunraj.in will be the same (My Personal Blog / resume). and lampindia.com is supposed to be yet another place for LAMP discussions ( all of you are welcome there once it is up ) probably i may want to add some more domains to the same setup.
I hope the domain mapping is already enough for drupal, right ? All the domains point to the same location.
So my first question is, is this possible ; since here araj.in and arunraj.in is the supposed to be the same site, how should we set it up?
I also want to keep the current data in my site (arunraj.in) is that possible to upgrade the single site to this multi-site setup
I am using a single database, But yes can use seperate table prefixes.
Can i use the same root account for all theses sites? Well ofcourse its okay if i cant, I am using openId anyway so that doesnt make a difference.
But it will be good if i can use the same user accounts in lampindia.com and another site(the idea is yet to come). I want all the users to be able to use the same login in all of them.
Anyone experienced with this scenario? Any assistance is greatly appreciated. I actually haven't read alot documention, So in case i found it first, ofcourse i will post the method here.
thanks everyone.

Sad that, no one replied for me.
:-( Anyway i installed it. If it helps anyone else, Here is how to do it.
(I didn't made the users comman, But i think by now i know how to do it.)
All i had to do is, create a "lampindia.com" folder in the sites folder and make the the necessory changes (base url, database prefix ) and thats it, I am done. even www.lampindia.com points to the lampindia.com automatically now. :-)
Drupal rocks !!
Oh and by the way, all of you are welcome to LAMPIndia.com !
Thanks for posting back how
