rjerome commentedPresumably you have to have an account on ISI before those ISI links will be of any value, but assuming you do, could you try this URL and see if it works for you...
http://gateway.isiknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi/000263652900005
If so, I can change those Go to ISI links to the above on import.

gdoteof commentedactually we are doing this for a client and I don't have an account on ISI... I don't even know what ISI is really. I would assume that the ISI reference we are making actually exists on ISI's server though if that's how it works, and if that's the question you are asking.
the problem, again from what I can tell, isn't account access but the fact that the link being generated is pointing within our domain rather than going to ISI's server or some external program.
they have given us hundreds of these references and I assume if they have an ISI id, they must be real.
if I am missing something I apologize

rjerome commentedYes, given the ISI number, I'm sure it exists. EndNote uses the above mentioned URL to connect to map the "Go to ISI" links, but i don't have an ISI account either so I really don't know if the URL will work. Perhaps you could ask your client to try the URL above.
