This is my first post to the drupal.org forums....

I have been moving back and forth between mambo, joomla, xoops, and drupal for my web projects over the past couple of years - but I have decided, that for me, drupal really fits the bill. drupal fits in closely with my coding skills and my time constraints - and seems to be somewhat more stable in development that other open source cms (in particular the mambo/joomla scene).

Here is the details/my thoughts on the site:

The basis of the theme is gespaa, but it does not render quite the same in firefox as IE. I haven't figured out how to make the css right for IE yet... (I use firefox on a kubuntu [www.ubuntulinux.org] box).

I want to make the header img a rotating background, or ideally, use flash. I am not a flash guy and want to incorporate flash that does not have to reload on each page load.

I am using nice menus for the java menu.

I am trying to get acid free working....but having trouble with it for some reason...(errors in directory access supposedly, but I have my permissions set to 755 on the /files/ directory...i'll search the forums...)

I expect to move toward using clean urls and we also need to get several of our partners images and information uploaded to the site as well.

I would appreciate any feedback...positive/negative/indifference
