Default values not being saved

Thanks for this cool module!

However, I came upon the following problem in both version 6.x-2.0-alpha1 and 6.x-2.x-dev: When assigning default values to textfield matrix field cells, these default values are not being saved! Upon entering default values and then saving the content type, as well as on node creation, the default value cells remain empty.

Appreciate any help on this!
