I´ve read all about mailhandler module in these forums. My problem is that my provider will not compile PHP with IMAP capabilities, needed by both modules to work, so I´m trying to solve this problem out.
a) Is there any chance to get mailhandler and listhandler working WITHOUT the need of imap()?
b) Are there any other alternative modules with the same functionality as mailhandler and listhandler?

I'm using GoDaddy as a host and they do not support the imap php library, and will not add the extension for me. Are there any alternate libraries or workarounds for this?
Anyone???
Anyone have any ideas? How about a hack - have another service FTP the mail to a folder??? Sounds messy, but I might be interested in trying that one out.
Anyone tried a workaround for GoDaddy?
I am also having same problem with godaddy
Called godaddy and they told me same thing. I have an option to upgrade by a/c from basic hosting to virtual or dedidated hosting where they have imap support, but it is $25 more per month.
Also my drupal app is able to send account confirm emails whenenver a new user joins. Not sure how that works...but mailhandler doesn't work at godaddy.
This has became a big showstopper for me.
Appreciate all your help
thanks
no php-imap on godaddy shared hosting
Has anyone come up with a solution to this?
bump?
Anything new?
