CAPTCHA required but no input field

Description

i'm using civicrm & drupal & have set up contributions pages that work fine when i am logged in as superuser, in both test & live modes. BUT when any other user or new user tries to use the contribution pages, once they have confirmed their information & should go to the payment processor, they are returned to the home page with an error message saying that the CAPTCHA field is required. but there is no captcha field on the contributions pages!!!!

i have spent hours trawling thru drupal, thru civicrm, thru the settings for the contribution pages & thru profiles & thru the mollom settings. i cannot find a way to either make a captcha field appear on the contribution pages, or make it stop thinking it needs one.

Can you verify this using the latest 6.x-1.9. There were some major changes if two forms were on the same page, which might be the case here, and since I have no idea how the Mollom CAPTCHA would be added to a contribution page since there is no support for that form.
