More Enhancements

Wouldn't it be nice, if the thumbnail list was displayed at the bottom of each image again, with the thumbnail of the current image highlighted?

Here we go!

Add a new field (field_)”more_images” of type “View field” with form element “Select List” to the node type “image” we created before. Then save the changes. On the next form check “force default”, in section “Default value”, select “gallery - Defaults” for the view to display and enter “[book_id]” in the Arguments: field. In section “Global settings” check “gallery” for allowed views, “use a common default value...” and “Enable token replacement”. In the next section select “gallery - Page” for the view to display and enter “[book_id]” in the Arguments: field. Then save the field settings.

On the “Display fields” tab select Label: “Above”, Teaser: “<Hidden>”, Full node: “Page” for the gallery index. And save your changes.

When we now view an image in full view we also see the tumbnail overview of this gallery with the current image highlighted in red. In some cases you must first edit and save the nodes to see the gallery index :( .
