xurizaemonPatches / contributions welcome. I am happy to create a D5 release if code is contributed for it.
#273648: Selectable behaviour to use menu text OR node title for current node suggests that this functionality was in core D5 anyway?
If no code is contributed, I will close this issue when D7 is released.

xurizaemonI lied. I meant to say, "When Drupal 7 is nearly released". Or maybe, "at some future date, randomly selected by me".
